1. For me poverty is the situation when you don´t have the enough resources to maintain a good lifestyle. Poverty is too the socioeconomic situation of the population or an specific person that dont have the access or have the lack of resources to meet the basic physical and psychological needs that allow an appropriate level and quality of life such as food, house, education, health care or access to drinking water. 2. I think that the poverty exists because the govenrment´s people is very ambicious. This happens because the people that controls a country always think in their own care, their family. they invest more in their expenses than in the necessity of the people that really needs that money. 3. Me as a teenager we can show the people how the situation is. Because is not possible that while others are living from their money´s poblation, others are dying of the poverty, to raise awareness. 4. Im Melany Yalibeth Loera Osorio 1- For me poverty is the survival to bad conditions of living, lack of food and all the basic stuff which allow us to continue living. 2-I think that poverty exist because the enormous inequality that has been seen for loads of years in this life, countries as Africa has more probability to live in poverty, why? firstly because the unfunctional government , secondly maybe either they dont have the courage to change their lives or they dont have the resources to grow, like well-paid jobs, public universities,etc. Finally there is a big chance that the globalization have not arrived yet in poor places, they dont have what we have, as i said, there is an inequality. 3-As a teenager i can make conscience by my own and begin to reduce the impulsive shopping, I have to think that im not the only one in this world which need that new fragance, that new toy that are useless stuff, what they really need is food, water, a roof where to live that´s important. 4-With the video i felt with the courage to do like campaigns for help them. What is poverty for you? I believe poverty is the inability to satisfy your basic needs, -like food, shelter and clothing-, and it's mostly because nowadays all these things cost money, and there are whole countries which have a paralyzed economy and live thousands of years behind rich nations, such as the US.
Why do you think poverty exists? I firmly believe that poverty started when powerful nations started abusing poor, developing countries to satisfy their own needs and interests. Then, once they took everything they had away, they lost interest and just went back home. That caused a serious backwardness in the growth of these emerging countries, not only because they were starting late in the globalization race, but also because they didn't have anything to activate their economy with.
As a teenager what could you do to help poor people? Luckily, I have received an education, sonthe best thing I can think of is to share the things I know with people that haven't been able to attend school; giving them stuff is just a temporary solution, because we are just helping them live their misery in a "better" way, instead of helping them escape that misery. I would love to join forces with other young people to get them jobs, and teach them to do things that will later allow them to get their own money instead of just begging for it.
How did you feel when you watched this video? I felt really sad, specially when I read the Human Rights article about us living in equal conditions, becuse we actually don't. We are such a failure of a brotherhood, lately we haven't been doing anything else but to kill one another. Humans are always competing with each other to get shinier and more modern stuff, just trying to forget there are people starving in the very moment I'm writing this line.
1-For me, poverty is something the government itself to its citizens regardless caused 2. By the government as the families themselves do not have the fundamentals to move forward the goverment do not care whether or not if its citizens are not what they earn while poor people struggle every day overcome but can not afford the means 3.First of all pray for them, and then whenever you can give some help as clothing money than real food to people in need mind 4. 1- I think poverty is the cause of greed, wealth and power. I believe that as there are winners, inevitably there will be losers and poverty is simply that. There is so much being done to eradicate poverty, but personally, i believe it will never go away, there will always be those that want power, willing to go to any lengths to receive them.

2-I think that poverty exist because the enormous inequality that has been seen for loads of years in this life, countries as Africa has more probability to live in poverty, why? firstly because the unfunctional government , secondly maybe either they dont have the courage to change their lives or they dont have the resources to grow, like well-paid jobs, public universities,etc. Finally there is a big chance that the globalization have not arrived yet in poor places, they dont have what we have, as i said, there is an inequality.
3-As a teenager i can make conscience by my own and begin to reduce the impulsive shopping, I have to think that im not the only one in this world which need that new fragance, that new toy that are useless stuff, what they really need is food, water, a roof where to live that´s important.
4-With the video i felt with the courage to do like campaigns for help them. I also felt mad with the government , i dont know why they allow that kind of living, where are the rights? the supposed equality? i felt mad with all the countries , that big potencies that has everything but doesn´t has the sense of community. In the other hand i felt lucky, i dont have to cry everyday for mi living conditions, im happy and i m grateful with God for what he has gave me .

I believe poverty is the inability to satisfy your basic needs, -like food, shelter and clothing-, and it's mostly because nowadays all these things cost money, and there are whole countries which have a paralyzed economy and live thousands of years behind rich nations, such as the US.
Why do you think poverty exists? I firmly believe that poverty started when powerful nations started abusing poor, developing countries to satisfy their own needs and interests. Then, once they took everything they had away, they lost interest and just went back home. That caused a serious backwardness in the growth of these emerging countries, not only because they were starting late in the globalization race, but also because they didn't have anything to activate their economy with.
As a teenager what could you do to help poor people? Luckily, I have received an education, sonthe best thing I can think of is to share the things I know with people that haven't been able to attend school; giving them stuff is just a temporary solution, because we are just helping them live their misery in a "better" way, instead of helping them escape that misery. I would love to join forces with other young people to get them jobs, and teach them to do things that will later allow them to get their own money instead of just begging for it.
How did you feel when you watched this video? I felt really sad, specially when I read the Human Rights article about us living in equal conditions, becuse we actually don't. We are such a failure of a brotherhood, lately we haven't been doing anything else but to kill one another. Humans are always competing with each other to get shinier and more modern stuff, just trying to forget there are people starving in the very moment I'm writing this line.

1- I think poverty is the cause of greed, wealth and power. I believe that as there are winners, inevitably there will be losers and poverty is simply that. There is so much being done to eradicate poverty, but personally, i believe it will never go away, there will always be those that want power, willing to go to any lengths to receive them.
2- As I said, poverty exists because of greed toward money and power, rich nations are looking for things that might be useful for some ocsasión but they don´t dtop and think about the number of people left without food, home, education and clothing.
3- One of the things that could be put into practice is make a collection with pantry items and go to give them to poor communities, this may not change the world but something must begin.
4- I honestly felt bad because there are times when I don´t appreciate what I have or don´t finish my food and I think about those people who are living in poor condition and would like to have a little of what I have.

ResponderEliminarPoverty is impossible for me to have people to meet their needs and does not have access to certain "privileges" that others may be things without meaning.It is an injustice to some extent because everyone should have the same opportunities

I think there is about many things , but mostly because in many countries there is economic crisis, which means that there are fewer jobs and people still working rather than make more money , earn less and is giving a low quality of life to their family.

We as teens can help poor people from toys to donate money or clothes which do not have quality of life as bad or focusing on children, who despite living a situation of life so do not lose their happiness.

¿Por qué crees que existe la pobreza?
Creo que la pobreza existe porque las personas ya no tienen las mismas oportunidades para estudiar que otras y tinen que trabajar, pero pasa lo mismo con el trabajo, porque en la actualidad es mas dificil encontrar uno.
Cuando era adolescente, ¿qué podrías hacer para ayudar a los pobres?
Creo que podria regalar todas las cosas que yp ya no ocupo pero se que los demas les darian un uso bueno, regalar despensa, cobijas y cosas que se puedan reusar.

Cuando vi el video me senti un poco triste porque se que esas personas estan sufriendo mucho y nosotros que lo tenemos todo nos quejamos todo el tiempo y simplemente queremos mas y mas cosas sin estar agradecidos.
